About Strategic Psychotherapy

Strategic Psychotherapy is a practical and results-focused approach that supports meaningful change by addressing the patterns that keep people feeling stuck. Rather than spending long periods analysing the past, this approach focuses on what’s happening in the present and how change can occur in achievable, supportive ways.

In my work, strategic psychotherapy helps clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact, and how small, intentional shifts can create lasting change. It is particularly effective for anxiety, emotional overwhelm, unhelpful patterns, and challenges that feel repetitive or difficult to break.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I work alongside you to gently explore what’s getting in the way, identify practical strategies, and support you in building confidence, clarity, and emotional resilience.

Combined with counselling, life coaching, and mind–body techniques such as EFT, strategic psychotherapy offers a structured yet flexible way to move forward — helping you feel more in control, balanced, and supported in your life.

Neuroplasticity & My Therapeutic Approach

At the heart of my work is the understanding that the brain has an incredible ability to change and adapt - a process known as Neuroplasticity. This means that no matter your age or past experiences, new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding are always possible.

Through strategic psychotherapy, counselling, life coaching, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), I support clients to gently shift unhelpful patterns and create healthier emotional responses. Rather than focusing solely on the past, my approach helps you understand what is happening in the present and how small, intentional changes can lead to meaningful and lasting transformation.

When we repeatedly experience stress, anxiety, or emotional pain, the brain can become wired to respond in certain ways. Using evidence-based and mind–body approaches, we work together to create new neural pathways that support calm, clarity, and emotional balance.

My work is practical, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I focus on helping you build awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen your sense of self - empowering you to move forward with confidence and resilience.

Through this process, change becomes not only possible, but sustainable.

Clinical EFT

Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is an evidence-based method that combines acupressure with elements drawn from cognitive and exposure therapies.

The approach has been validated in more than 100 clinical trials.
Bond University replicated the landmark cortisol study, conducted by Dr. Dawson Church in 2012 with great success and in 2020 their findings were published by the APA (American Psychological Association).
